Uganda selected for WFP project
Uganda is one of the few African countries that have been selected to be part of a new multi-million dollar initiative to help small-scale farmers increase their incomes.
The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation are spearheading the ground breaking initiative dubbed, Purchase for Progress (P4P) at the cost of $76 million.
